Infant Feeding Support Group, as part of comprehensive follow up.

Women Supporting Women
Oanh is demonstrating techniques that work for her family, supporting others who are facing similar challenges.

I facilitate a #supportgroup, open to all #nursing and #pumping parents. Parent to Parent support can be more powerful than time with your #IBCLC, especially once you've developed a strategy to attain your goals. Although it is an opportunity to check in on your baby's #weight, #milktransfer for a feeding, and have a #lactation professional available. I think the most profound benefit is time with other parents. Seeing #parents who are facing #challenges you have overcome, whilst seeing parents who have overcome whatever you are facing, can build your confidence in this journey.

This setting can serve as a bridge to #nursinginpublic. Feeding outside the home seems to be a daunting goal for some of my clients, especially if Baby needs a little extra help establishing a deep, comfortable latch. Here, everyone gets it.

Dawn Dickerson and I alternate Fridays 11:45-13:15 at Rise Prime Wellness located at

5550 Carmel Mountain Road, Suite 208 San Diego, CA 92130. Dawn is owner of mamasandmilk.com and rents the space, see her website for more information on Prenatal, and Baby Yoga.
